Summary:
Analyzes system requirements to support the development,
certification, deployment, and sustainment of Command and
Control (C2) systems.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
include the following. Other job-related duties may be
assigned, in compliance with state and federal regulations.
Confers with clients, DoD program offices,
and prime contractors to define the scope of the project.
Evaluates factors such as reporting formats
required, volume of transactions, time requirements, and
cost constraints, and the need for security and access
restrictions.
Analyzes information to determine,
recommend, and plan layout for primary and peripheral
equipment, or modifications to existing equipment and
system, that will provide capability for proposed project or
work load, efficient operation, and effective use of
allotted space.

Qualifications
To
perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to

Education and/or Experience
Bachelor's degree (B. S.) in Computer
Science, Electrical or Mechanical Engineering from four-year
college or university. Advanced degree preferred. Technical
domain experience in C2 and C4 systems, including system
architecture and the full life cycle of system engineering.
Previous technical leadership success on large system - of -
system programs is desired. Experience in Marine Corps
Tactical Systems Support Activity (MCTSSA) (or other service
equivalent) is a definite plus. Experience in any of the
following programs is another plus: ForceNet, LandWarNet,
UOC, COC, GCCS-M, MAGTF -C2, CAC2S, M2C2, NECC, ETCS, ELB,
TDN, DTC, DACT, M-DACT, C2PC, FBCB2, TOC, AFATDS, ASAS,
JSTARS CGS, DCGS
Language Skills
Ability to read, analyze, and interpret
common scientific and technical journals, financial reports,
and legal documents. Ability to respond to common inquiries
or complaints from customers, regulatory agencies, or
members of the business community. Ability to write speeches
and articles for publication that conform to prescribed
style and format. Ability to effectively present information
to top management, public groups, and/or boards of
directors.
Mathematical Skills
Ability to comprehend and apply principles
of advanced calculus, modern algebra, and advanced
statistical theory. Ability to work with concepts such as
limits, rings, quadratic and differential equations, and
proofs of theorems.
