General Description:
Technical report writing, finite element analysis skills
for detailed stress analysis and review of mechanical
components are required. Component/part sourcing vendor
validation and associated specification generation and
compliance skills are required. For example a lead
would be responsible for: Project design data accuracy,
participate in planning activities, provide project
feedback and status information. attend project
meetings, understand and relay to the group the scope of
the tasking assigned, inform Project Manager of the
progress of activities and complete group estimates of
tasks required.
Self
starting organizational, written and verbal
communication skills in fluent English are required.
Applicants must meet eligibility requirements to obtain
a U.S. DoD classified (SECRET) security clearance.
Knowledge of government and Federal Aviation Authority
(FAA) regulations and their impact on design and
analysis (i.e., certification, qualification).
Candidate must have evidence to show they are capable of
instructing on detailed stress analysis, drafting,
certification, and manufacturing best practices. Have
experience with durability and damage tolerance
analysis.
Candidate must have structures engineering experience
and have a minimum of 15 years of overall airplane
experience.
Candidate must be able to plan and organize their
group’s costs and schedule to work productively and
efficiently while being able to adjust to multiple
demands. Good communication skills and strong team
leadership experience is required. Strong proficiency
with PC desktop applications are required.
Support the development of engineering design and
analysis manuals and to assess and resolve production
problems. |
