Twisted Pair VoIP (WAVE)

Coherent Systems’ WAVE servers provides instant, interoperable group communications for the needs of today’s warfighter.

The WAVE Management Server oversees the interaction of IP multicast groups, called channels and any device that can connect to an IP network can be part of these WAVE Channels. Coherent Systems’ WAVE Media Server then mixes these channels into a hugely scalable “conference”, so they can interoperate, regardless of the end-user device.

WAVE systems can talk to other WAVE systems, allowing different entities to interoperate together across operational or jurisdictional boundaries.

Additional WAVE Features:

  • Critical Interoperability capability
  • Connects any communication device to any other via the SIPR IP network
  • Integrates with legacy voice communications systems
  • Support for practically all two-way radio systems, without distinguishing between radio manufacturers, frequencies or technologies
  • Cisco IP Phone Paging
  • Drop and drag channel bridging
  • Based on industry standards & COTS
  • Integration of  IWS with programmable icon billet structure
